Grain Store is the hotly anticipated new restaurant by Chef Bruno Loubet and The Zetter Group’s Michael Benyan and Mark Sainsbury. Following on from the extraordinary success of Bistrot Bruno Loubet and The Zetter Townhouse, they have once again, joined forces with pioneering drinks creator Tony Conigliaro. The restaurant is located on Granary Square at the heart of London’s most exciting new quarter, King’s Cross.
There are no geographical boundaries to the influences that have inspired the eclectic menu they are a culmination of Bruno Loubet’s extensive travels and the years dedicated to his beloved vegetable patch. Although many dishes have a meat or fish element, this menu gives vegetables equal billing, if not the starring role.
The bar is also a destination in its own right. Tony Conigliaro has taken inspiration from the Greco-Roman approach to wine, experimenting with the introduction of herbs and spices to flavour them.
Tony Conigliaro and Bruno Loubet have also collaborated on elements of their respective menus, matching savoury cocktails with specific dishes, combining kitchen techniques with processes from Tony’s laboratory.
The interiors, created by the acclaimed Russell Sage, are designed around the idea of the exploded kitchen. A flexible interior that blurs the lines between kitchen and dining room, with elements of the cooking process spilling over to the table. The 80 seat terrace outside on Granary Square is equally eclectic and will be a likely magnet for alfresco drinking and dining.
