The daytimes are getting longer and the weather is starting to look more promising for the summer. Enjoying and making the most of the weather may be the hardest part of the summer, so we’ve decided to list the best beer gardens that you may want to visit in your spare time.

Based on the banks of the Thames by Wandsworth Bridge, the outside area offers beautiful and relaxing views of parts of London and the river. The pub boosts a larger than usual beer garden that attracts a vibrant crowd of people who create a great atmosphere. During the summer months The Ship entertain the taste buds with great beer and wine, as well as regular barbeques.

The Avalon Summer Garden has been rated by Time Out as one of London’s best and it’s clear to see why. The fully decked large area is surrounded by mature trees and flowers, making the outside area very hard to compete with. If it’s a casual drink after a long day in Clapham Common or a nice afternoon lunch in a lively area, The Avalon Summer Garden is worth a visit.


The Albion
Location – 10 Thornhill Road, London, N1 1HW

The Georgian pub has a walled beer garden to keep in a busy and lively atmosphere. The spacious area is accompanied by a tree, which gives shade to a certain areas of the garden, and colourful beds. You’ll be able to enjoy having food in the sun as the Albion offers an outdoor barbeque too.
